Ear piercings

Yesterday we decided to get our ears pierced, well actually it was meant to be just Taylor but she decided to drag me along and then you decided to come too. They realized mine were still open after 20 years, wow!! Taylor had hers done shortly after and cried for a second. Your turn came and you screamed, kicked and ran around the mall. Repeat that in your head for 45 minutes and then you finally allowed them. We came home and Hailey was all excited and wanted hers done, so back to the mall we went and she was the best one, not even a tear. You and your friend Leah, she came over just after for a play date.

Peddle Boat

Saturday we headed off to Ruidoso and had a fab day, it was a little chilly so we were glad we brought jackets this time. The peddle boats were open and we were so excited. We suited up and off we went, it was hard to peddle against the wind so we were all achy after, but we laughed so much. I love our life.

You are Gorgeous

Field Trip

You went to the park for your last field trip in second grade, you were disappointed because you were meant to be hiking in Cloud Croft but the extreme dryness here means everything is closed off. But, it was a really good day, they had games and activities and it worked really well. You were there all day and had the best time. I was delighted as I was able to be with you for a few hours with Hailey and the daycare kids.

Puzzle

You and I sat down this weekend and finished this puzzle, you wanted it framed and on your wall, so here it is my lovely!!

The Sulcata Tortoise

You have really started being interested in our Tortoise Welly, so I encourage you to do a report on him and look up pictures and information on him. You did so so well that I asked Ms Miller if you could present it to the class, she was delighted!! It went really well, all the kids were interested and asked you questions.

Your favourite part was of course showing off your baby!!

You have such a love for learning Masie, please hold on to that you will go so far.

Mothers Day

I had the most fabulous mothers day ever, I am very blessed. I was served breakfast in bed which was delicious, bacon sandwich with a fruit cup and an ice tea. I was given all my home made gifts that just made my day, you were all so excited. I went into the living room and I was given the best card that had all three of my babies voices in it and then sang to me. Daddy helped you frame pictures and hand prints which I will Cherish forever. Then we spent the day at Oliver Lee, oh was it beautiful and the most perfect day. We were so happy all day long, I didn't want it to end.

We took a picnic and swimsuits, which made your day so you could swim in the middle of the rocks that was filled with water.

Easter

We had such a fun Eater, we dyed eggs and filled so many plastic eggs with candy we couldn't even count them. I found this picture on my camera in the morning, I'm pretty sure Mango was helping the Easter bunny hide the eggs. You are my little artist and love to design and draw things, you got a cool tattoo book in your basket. We had a slight drama when Hailey stole one of your eggs, oh boy did you go mad!!!

Spring Break

You were really looking forward to spring break, you and your sisters had a list written out and we did it ALL. We had a great wee, especially as I didn't have to work.

The Sulcata Tortoise

You started asking a lot of Questions about Welly, I encouraged you to do a project on him and display your findings. You did all the research, found all the pictures and put it altogether. I was so proud of you I asked your teacher if you could come in a present it to the class. She was delighted for you to come in.You did amazing and I'm so proud of you, you were nervous but handled it like a pro.
Welly loved going to school with his sister.

Popple

This is my popple from my childhood. Its over 20 years old and very much loved, it doesn't have a tail anymore and it has several holes. You LOVE it but its so warn that more holes were appearing and I didn't want it even more ruined. You sadly gave it back, I just really hope we can find you one for your birthday.
